Landon goes ape-crazy if he sees me out in the backyard without him. He stands at the sliding glass door, with his face pressed up against it with a longing look. I think he is wondering why he has to be inside. So, because he is so dang cute, i had to figure out a way to get yardwork done with him in tow. I didn't want to let him run around the yard while I was mowing because he is mesmerized by the lawnmower and doesn't realize it is dangerous. So, the kid backpack was the next best thing. He chills out up there and doesn't take his eyes off of what is going on. I like to look at it as "training 'em young" because the sooner he can push the mower, the sooner I don't have to!

Todd, what a great picture! It sure brings back memories. We attended the San Diego Temple Open House, and I carried Scott around in a child carrier, just like you are doing with Landon and the lawn mowing. Well, Scott kept on spitting at the back of my head while I had him in my carrier...not really spitting, but more of making a "phoof phoof" sound that carried a lot of spray with it. I was drenched by the end of the temple tour!
Too dang cute! That's a boy for you!
Ethan got to help me push the lawnmower this week. He sure does love to be our little helper-what fun!
