Dad and I took the Cessna for a burn from Ramona to French Valley Airport (Temecula) this morning. It was a picture perfect Southern California morning, although it was a bit on the nippy side (34 degrees). We were airborne by 7:15am for the short 20 min flight north. We ate and then made our way out of the increasingly busy traffic pattern at French Valley and headed home. We found the Ramona Airport deserted and for good reason.....winds were blowing 22 knots across the runway. The little Cessna does OK in the wind, but we were glad to land. Overall a good time. Need to go flying more.

Todd,
YOU ARE NUTS!!!!
But we love you anyways!
Woo Hoo! Has Stacy gone up yet?
What is better the $100.00 omlet, or the $100.00 burger? We have only gone for the $100.00 burger. Wish we were closer so we could try out the omlet! Looks beautiful. I'd like an answer to the above question. Will Stacy ever go up or let her babies ever go up???
yes, Stacy flew with me a few times a long time ago. Not her cup of tea. She has finally agreed to let me take the little people with me, but my dad's plane is kinda underpowered (145HP when it was brand new), so it might be a wild ride trying to climb out with people in the back seat. I am going to taxi Landon around the airport next time we are in SD to see if he screams. He can be a screamer.....not a good thing when trying to get ATC clearances!!! hahahaha
Ah that is too cool!!! can't wait to see how Landon does. :)
