Evidence of Global Warming.......

Yep, 8"+ of snow in Socal and no signs of letting up. Had a blast making a snowman this morning. Next up, dragging the kids behind the Honda 50 on the sled. Have to warm them up to the idea because right now they don't want any part of dad being a kid again.

Dear Skye and Landon,
I LOVE your snowman. What a good daddy you have to brave the cold snowy weather and play with you outside. I didn't realize that you could get snow in Palmdale. Enjoy the snow while it lasts. Merry Christmas. Snow makes it feel like it's Christmas next week. I love you all. Grandma Henderson

That is so fun! We just had our first "big" snow storm and it doesn't look like we got as much snow as you. We made a snowman, but it was only about a foot tall! Hope you all have Merry Christmas!

I can't believe people are still saying this. Or were still saying this, even in 2008.

From Wikipedia, "List of common misconceptions":
Contemporary global warming is driven by human activities, despite claims that it is not occurring, lacks strong scientific consensus, or that warming is mostly caused by non-human factors. No scientific body of national or international standing disagrees with the decades-old, near-complete scientific consensus on climate change. Global warming is primarily a result of the increase in atmospheric greenhouse-gas concentrations (like CO2 and methane) via the burning of fossil fuels as well as other human activities such as deforestation, with secondary climate change feedback mechanisms (such as the melting of the polar ice increasing the Earth's absorption of sunlight) assisting to perpetuate the change.
